• Alexander Sapozhnikov
  Managing Director, Head of Corporate Finance Department

  Alexander Sapozhnikov leads Gazprombank Corporate Finance department since 2007. Alexander has more than 15 years experience in corporate finance services in Russian and international companies. Prior to joining Gazprombank, Alexander had been partner with Ernst & Young in charge of the corporate finance business for CIS. Since 1996, Mr. Sapozhnikov has worked in corporate finance department of Ernst & Young in Moscow and New York. In 1994, Mr. Sapozhnikov graduated from Moscow State University of Railway Engineering with a degree in Applied Mathematics; in 1997-2002 he was enrolled in management and professional development program of Ernst & Young in Russia and the U.S.A.

• Yelena Lomakina
  Deputy Head of Corporate Finance Department

  Elena has more than 12 years of professional experience in investment and consulting business. Before joining Gazprombank in 2007, Elena had been a partner in the Corporate Finance department at the Moscow office of Ernst & Young. Earlier, she was an investment manager with Delta Capital–US-Russian Investment Fund, a private equity fund with USD440 million under management. Elena also worked in the venture capital fund Sector Capital and in Morgan Stanley Global emerging markets strategy team in London and Moscow. In 1987, Ms. Lomakina graduated from Moscow Humanities University; in 1995, she graduated from Plekhanov Russian Academy of Economics.

• Boris Evseev
  Managing Director, Merchant Banking

  Boris Evseev leads the Merchant Banking business within Gazprombank’s Corporate Finance department. Prior to joining Gazprombank, he worked at PineBridge Investments (formerly AIG Investments) in New York, where he focused on private equity investments in Africa and the Middle East. Prior to that, he was Director at AIG-Brunswick Millennium Fund in Moscow and earlier led the Central Asia team for AIG Silk Road Fund. Boris started his career in 1994 as an investment banker with NationsBank and Bank of America in the U.S. after graduating from the University of South Carolina with a Masters of International Business degree. Boris is also a graduate of Moscow State University, where he earned a degree in economics.
