• Mikhail Rodionov
  First Vice President – Head of Oil & Gas Projects Department

  Mikhail Rodionov has more than 11 years of experience working in the investment banking business.

  Mr. Rodionov joined the Gazprombank team as a manager of the Corporate Financing Department and the Head of the Oil & Gas Group in 2004, and in 2007 he was appointed as the head of the Bank’s new division – Oil & Gas Projects Department. During his employment with Gazprombank, Mr. Rodionov was in charge of and participated directly in preparation and implementation of a number of major transactions in the Russian oil and gas industry, including acquisition of the interestin Sakhalin-2 project by Gazprom, execution of asset swap deal between Gazprom and German concerns BASF and E.ON, selection of OAO Novatek partners in Yamal LNG project.

  Mr. Rodionov primarily focuses on providing consulting services to the oil and gas and mining companies. In addition, Mr. Rodionov is involved in the operational management of Gazprombank’s resources assets and is a member of the management boards of oil and gas and gold-mining companies.

  Before joining Gazprombank, Mr. Rodionov was employed with Lukoil Overseas where he dealt with investment reviews of international Upstream and Midstream oil & gas projects. The projects successfully completed by Mr. Rodionov include winning of a gas exploration and production bid in Saudi Arabia for OAO LUKOIL, and acquisition of equity participation in projects in Iran and Azerbaijan by OAO LUKOIL. Prior to employment with OAO LUKOIL Mr. Rodionov worked in the Corporate Finance Office of Ernst & Young, where his clients included the leading Russian companies, such as OAO Gazprom, RAO UES, OAO Mosenergo and others.

  Mr. Rodionov graduated from the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics, Lomonosov Moscow State University, and completed the Master’s program at the Faculty of Economics of Lomonosov Moscow State University. He holds a Chartered Financial Analyst certificate.
  

• Alexander Zolov
  Deputy Head of Oil & Gas Projects Department

  Alexander Zolov has more than11 years of working experience in the investment business in oil and gas industry.

  During his employment with Gazprombank, Mr. Zolov participated directly in implementation of a number of projects in the oil and gas sector, including the acquisition of 51% of interest in OAO Sibneftegaz. In addition, Mr. Zolov was directly involved in the process of establishment of OAO Gazprom and BASF concern joint venture and selection of foreign companies for development of Shtokman gas field.

  As a bank employee, Mr. Zolov is primarily focused on managing oil and gas assets as well as the M&A process related to oil and gas assets of the Bank and its clients.

  Before joining to Gazprombank, Mr. Zolov was employed with LUKOIL Overseas, where he dealt with developing the Company’s exploration and production oil & gas business abroad. The completed projects, which Mr. Zolov participated in, include acquisition of the oil and gas assets in Iran and Saudi Arabia.

  Mr. Zolov began his career at OAO Tatneft, where he held positions from a production operator to a senior oil geologist.

  Mr. Zolov graduated from Ufa State Petroleum Technological University (the Faculty of Pipeline Transportation) and the Russian Law Academy of the Russian Federation Ministry of Justice (the Faculty of Law).
  

• Vladimir Smelov
  Director of Oil & Gas Projects Department

  Vladimir Smelov has been employed with Gazprombank since October 2010 and has more than 11 years of experience in the investment business within the oil and gas industry. Mr. Smelov focuses on providing consulting to the oil and gas companieson merger and acquisition issues.

  Before coming to Gazprombank, Mr. Smelov had been employed as a commercial advisor in Shell company for 5 years. He was in charge of activities within the Sakhalin-2 project  and also was involved in Shell new business development based on other oil and gas projects in Russia and Asia Pacific region.  In particular, Mr. Smelov coordinated Yamal LNG scouting study, took active participation in the dilution of Shell share in Sakhalin-2 project to Gazprom and split of the LNG sales and purchase agreement between Shell and Gazprom Marketing and Trading.  During the last year of working in Shell Mr. Smelov was mainly involved in the LNG contracts renegotiations with Japanese customers.  

  In addition, Mr. Smelov was employed with LUKOIL Overseas, where he provided financial and economic estimation of oil and gas projects in the CIS and Middle East, analysis of project financing and management for the implementation of enterprise-wide risk management system.

  Mr. Smelov started his career at Moscow Stock Exchange as a broker. He worked there for 5 years and got the real experience in the stocks, bonds and various derivative financial instrument trading.

• Andrey Naumkin
  Deputy Director of Oil & GasProjects Department

  Andrey Naumkin has more than 7 years of working experience in the investment banking business
  He joined Gazprombank at the end of 2004.

  During his employment with Gazprombank, Mr. Naumkin participated in implementation of a number of international transactions, including acquisition of the interest in Sakhalin-2 project by OAO Gazprom, execution of asset swap deal between OAO Gazprom and German concerns BASF and E.ON, selection of OAO Novatek partners in Yamal LNG project, acquisition of a controlling stake in Serbian integrated oil and gas company Naftna Industrija Srbije by OAO Gazprom neft and others.

  Mr. Naumkin primarily focuses on providing consulting services to the oil and gas and allied infrastructure industries, and RF governmental institutions.

  In addition, Mr. Naumkin is involved in screening for opportunities and investments in small oil and gas assets.

  Before joining Gazprombank, Mr. Naumkin was employed with ARM Group where he was responsible for evaluation of investment projects in oil transportation industry.

• Sergey Chizhikov
  Deputy Directorof Oil & Gas Projects Department

  Sergey Chizhikov has an 8-year experience in oil & gas upstream finance management.

  Mr. Chizhikov joined the Gazprombank team in 2007. Mr. Chizhikov focuses on organization of operationg financial and economic performance management of oil & gas companies, as well as on oil & gas asset acquisition and sale deals.

  During his employment with Gazprombank Mr. Chizhikov:
  - organized the financial function of Gazprom Netherlands B.V. company (currently – Gazprom EP International B.V.),
  - Actively participated in finance management of Sakhalin-2 project on behalf of OAO Gazprom,
  - was responsible for financial and economic issues of JV between OAO Gazprom and BASF AG in Libya (project C97/C97) on behalf of OAO Gazprom,
  - participated in preparing acquisition of a stake in Elephant project in Libya by OAO Gazprom.

  Before joining Gazprombank Mr. Chizhikov was employed with Lukoil Overseas, where he was in charge for finance management of oil and gas projects of the company in the Middle East and North Africa.

  Mr. Chizhikov has graduated from the Faculty of Economics of the Institute of African and Asian Studies of Lomonosov Moscow State University (Diploma with Honors).
  

• Sergey Shkurov
  Deputy Directorof Oil & Gas Projects Department

  Sergey Shkurov joined Gazprombank in 2005 and has a 10 year experience in investment.

  Mr. Shkurov is primarily engaged in oil and gas project management as well as  structuring and execution of oil and gas asset acquisition and sale deals.

  One of the last successful deals managed by Mr. Shkurov is a sale of 51% shares of OJSC “Sibneftegaz”  (a large gas producer) by Gazprombank.

  Before joining Gazprombank Mr. Shkurov was employed with Zarubezhneft – a state owned company engaged in several oil & gas joint-venture projects abroad.

  Graduated from the Moscow State Institute of Foreign Relations (MGIMO), International Economic Relations Faculty, Diploma with Honors.
  

• Artem Anikin
  Deputy Director of Oil & Gas Projects Department

  Artem Anikin has been actively engaged in investment project management within metals & mining industry for more than 7 years. He joined Gazprombank team in May 2008.

  Mr. Anikin focuses on search and management of promising metals & mining projects, as well as providing consulting services to companies on asset acquisition and sale issues.

  As an employee of Gazprombank, Mr. Anikin was directly involved in setting-up of in-house expertise and technical team in metals & mining, acquisition and management of gold mining assets.

  Before joining Gazprombank, Mr. Anikin was employed with OJSC Polyus Gold, the leading gold producer in Russia, where he was responsible for valuation of investment projects, development of company strategy and participated in consolidation of gold mining assets. Prior to employment with Polyus Gold, Mr. Anikin worked at Rosbank, where he was a consultant on major M&A transactions.

  He has an honors degree from the Russian Government’s Financial Academy, International Economic Relations.
  

• Anton Vasiliev
  Deputy Director of Oil & Gas Projects Department

  Anton Vasiliev has a 6 year experience in investment banking.

  Mr. Vasiliev joined Gazprombank team as an analyst in the beginning of 2006.

  He participated at different stages in complex analysis of international partners proposals for Shtokman project development, in economic analysis of parameters of Gazprom participation in tender for exploration licenses in Libya, in execution of asset swap deal between Gazprom and German concerns BASF and E.ON,  acquisition of the controlling stake in Sakhalin-2 project by OAO Gazprom,  acquisition of oil and gas assets in one of CIS countries by Gazprom Group,  acquisition of  the control stake in oil and gas company NIS in Serbia by Gazprom neft and acquisition of gold mining asset in Russia.

  Currently Mr. Vasiliev is involved in development of new business area of private equity investments in mining industry and screening for opportunities and investments in small oil and gas assets.

  In parallel he is involved in consulting of Russian governmental authorities and searching for new business development opportunities for Oil & Gas Projects Department.

  Before joining Gazprombank Mr. Vasiliev had internships in investment banking division of Société Générale, Corporate Finance department of Uralsib and Capital Market Department of IK Troika Dialog.

  Mr. Vasiliev holds bachelor and master degrees of Higher School of economics.
